GICLÈE - FINE ART PRINTS

what is a giclèe print?

A Giclée is an individual, high definition reproduction, printed on professional machinery. The colors are thus brighter and together with the high definition mixture they obtain a continuous tone.

The color range for Giclée illustrations is also markedly different from that of lithography. The details of the images are more captivating, colored with brighter and more vibrant tones. The reproduced colors are brighter, longer lasting and high definition.

Thanks to their quality, Giclée reproductions have established themselves among collectors for their fidelity and quality and are often exhibited in museums and galleries.

Giclée printing has radically changed the digital process of reproducing works of art. Since artists and collectors pay a lot of attention to the conservation of artistic works, and Giclée printing has adequately responded to the problem with its pigment ink and its high-quality supports, which do not alter over time: Giclée printing is synonymous with permanence. The Giclée printing technique is preferred by artists, art galleries and museums all over the world due to the high quality of the reproductions and the brilliance of the colours, superior to traditional printing techniques.
